Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Remote Software Engineer to join our team at Workwarp. As a Remote Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-volume services that enable dynamic content on Amazon devices and applications. This is a remote opportunity with a competitive salary of $35/hour, and we are looking for someone to start immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-volume services that enable dynamic content on Amazon devices and applications


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products and services


• Take a long-term perspective on design, proactively identifying and addressing technical gaps or proposing larger projects


• Understand the business impact of your systems and demonstrate good judgment when making technical trade-offs


• Drive engineering best practices and set standards for the team


• Contribute to the professional development of colleagues, improving their technical knowledge and engineering practices

Requirements:

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience


• 2+ years of experience with at least one programming language


• 2+ years of experience leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and existing systems


• Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and deployment


• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
