Job Overview:

We're seeking a skilled and compassionate Abstractor to join our team at Flatiron Health, a leading healthtech company dedicated to improving and extending lives by learning from the experience of every person with cancer. As an Abstractor, you will play a vital role in helping us achieve our mission by extracting and documenting clinical information from electronic health records (EHRs) to power smarter care for every person with cancer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide detailed and complete documentation in a variety of clinical projects, following standardized policies and procedures


• Extract clinical information from EHRs, including imaging reports, pathology reports, and clinical summaries, while adhering to the United Kingdom's privacy regulations


• Document oncology data with high accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring data quality and integrity


• Collaborate with our team to provide feedback and input on new features, tools, and workflows to support content development and quality assurance of our software solutions


• Evaluate approaches to document new data points and ensure data quality, contributing to the continuous improvement of our processes

Ideal Candidate:

You're a passionate and collaborative problem-solver with experience in oncology and/or clinical trials. You're a detail-oriented worker with excellent communication skills, reliability, and a high degree of initiative and independence. Requirements:

• Oncology/Haematology Nurse, Study Nurse, Clinical Research Associate (CRA), Clinical Trial Manager, or comparable professional experience


• Good understanding of oncology assessment and treatment patterns in the UK


• Proficiency in technology and openness to new software solutions


• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and integration skills


• Fluency in English
