About the position
- Responsibilities
- Provide budgeting, monitoring, and auditing for governmental grants, contracts, and non-grant agency programs.
- Administer and monitor accounting activities related to the Early Learning Program.
- Process financial information accurately and in compliance with program regulations.
- Perform audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with grant requirements.
- Prepare financial reports and provide guidance on financial matters related to grants and contracts.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align financial activities with organizational goals.
- Requirements
- Associates degree in a job-related field, or High School diploma/GED with a minimum of three (3) years of job-related experience.
- Experience in accounting, financial management, or a related area.
- Experience or knowledge working with Federal and State regulations.
- Nice-to-haves
- Experience in grant accounting and/or educational agency accounting experience.
- Auditing experience.
- Professional experience with a large main frame accounting system.
- Professional experience in governmental accounting.
