Job description: Do you have forklift experience? Bring your skills to this growing company! Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a leading company in Crookston, MN. We are seeking candidates for a Material Handler role on 1st and 2nd Shift (7:00am-3:30pm and 4:00pm-12:30am) This role will maintain an accurate inventory of parts and is responsible for moving inventory to the receiving docks. Compensation for this opportunity is $20.00/hour on 1st shift and $21.10/hour on 2nd shift.
- Material Handler Main Responsibilities:
- Set up material storage racks, bins, carts, etc. for proper storage to prevent damage or loss
- Expedite parts
- Create and maintain bins / drop areas for part deliveries/removal
- Waste dumping of trash containers into hoppers
- Support assembly operators in movement and lifting of material
- Make sure rejects are processed daily
- Note part shortage information on area white boards
- Maintain a neat and organized work area
- Accurately count parts
- Complete cycle count parts when directed
- Other duties as assigned
- Material Handler Key Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to drive a forklift
- Microsoft Excel and Word experience; Oracle background preferred
- Must be self-motivated
- Excellent communication skills & attention to detail
- Good work history
