Assoc Director Network Performance
About the position
- Responsibilities
- Accountable for network reliability and performance of SAP/TAPs.
- Organize and ensure timely installation of SAP/TAP hardware and upgrades.
- Manage the performance of the local wireless network.
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of network technologies to meet customer demand.
- Lead a team of Systems Engineers across multiple locations.
- Train and develop team members for future roles.
- Support capital and expense projects while meeting financial targets.
- Identify and implement efficiency improvements through automation or process enhancements.
- Interface with other departments to ensure compliance and growth schedules are met.
- Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
- Six or more years of relevant work experience.
- Four or more years of experience in wireless networks, telecommunications, or IP networks.
- Valid driver's license.
- Willingness to travel approximately 15% of the time.
- Nice-to-haves
- Master's degree.
- Two or more years of managerial/leadership experience.
- Experience managing remote teams.
- Service provider experience in MSC and/or Cell Operations.
- Familiarity with SDN and NFV.
- Knowledge of LTE/5G RAN and Core technologies.
- Experience in financial analysis and process engineering.
