About the position
- Responsibilities
- Contribute to high-impact projects related to 5G technology and network engineering.
- Use network analysis equipment to ensure network quality and regulatory standards at network tower locations.
- Identify, triage, and troubleshoot customer issues on location.
- Provide solutions to technical issues associated with radio frequency engineering products.
- Perform analysis in coordination with design and engineering teams to identify new network towers and small cell locations.
- Maintain project trackers and facilitate area-wide project calls.
- Interact with engineering, product groups, and finance to design and implement cost-effective solutions for a wireless network.
- Collaborate with team members to analyze and evaluate options to optimize network coverage.
- Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a qualifying bachelor's degree program at Northeastern University in Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications, Wireless Technologies, High-Frequency Design, Artificial Intelligence, or a related major.
- Good academic standing with an expected graduation date between December 2025 and June 2026.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship.
- Willingness to travel and work in an assigned Verizon office.
- Nice-to-haves
- Previous Internship or Co-Op experience.
- Completed coursework in calculus, physics, and/or probability/statistics.
- Experience with data analytics, data science, and computer programming for analysis and automation.
- Demonstrated independent thinking, relationship management, and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical, communication, leadership, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-moving, team environment.
