Advanced Mechanical Engineer
About the position
As an Advanced Mechanical Engineer, you will be a key member of a cross-functional team responsible for the full lifecycle of complex hardware systems, from initial concepts through detailed design, build, integration and test. This role will support the execution of development programs to deliver robust design solutions that meet stringent Navy requirements.

Design of electro-mechanical systems used in the defense industry;
Proficiency utilizing CAD tools to create 3D models and drawings for technical data packages that meet ASME Y14.5 and ASME Y14.100 standards;
Experience performing structural and thermal analyses to meet submarine environmental requirements.

Workplace Options:This position is Hybrid/Flex with a minimum of 3 days per week son-site. While on-site, you will be a part of the Middletown, RI, facility.
- Responsibilities

- Requirements
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field.
- Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
- Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire.
- Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
