Work with a leading global institution at the forefront of financial innovation! We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Alternative Credit Risk Manager to join our dynamic team in a Remote capacity. This is an immediate start opportunity for a skilled professional who can contribute to our First Line of Defense for wholesale and counterparty credit risk management. You will play a critical role in portfolio analysis, risk identification, management, and monitoring across a diverse range of products, including subscription call facilities, Fund Financing, FX, Derivatives, Prime Brokerage, and structured lending.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Evaluate transaction risk across a broad spectrum of products.

  • Demonstrate excellence in analysis, underwriting, monitoring, and drive global consistency.

  • Involvement in underwriting and supporting a portfolio of complex products.

  • Strong knowledge of Derivatives and structured lending.

  • Facilitate relationships with key clients in Banking and Risk.

  • Understand nuances of local markets, regulations, and competitor practices.

  • Provide well-reasoned risk/return assessments for transactions and client relationships.

  • Partner with global peers to leverage best practices.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred.

  • 7+ years of credit risk experience in banking, trading, structuring, or credit risk management within financial institutions.

  • Proven experience with alternative investment counterparties (e.g., Hedge Funds).

  • Strong ethical principles and integrity.

  • Dynamic, flexible, and excellent communication skills.

  • Ability to make decisions under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication, active listening, and presentation skills.
