- About the Opportunity:
- The AP & AR Associate supports the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions within the Shared Services team. This role ensures timely processing of invoices, credit memos, and payments, manages vendor relations, and assists with departmental tasks. It plays a crucial part in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting compliance efforts, and facilitating smooth financial operations for the organization.
- Responsibilities:
- Manage the Accounts Receivable mailbox and respond to inquiries within one hour
- Generate and distribute customer invoices and credit memos to brokers
- Record daily incoming payments and process credit card transactions
- Review and post fees and apply customer payments accurately in NetSuite
- Distribute aging statements to support timely collections
- Complete month-end tasks and assist with internal and external audits
- Monitor the Accounts Payable mailbox and provide backup support as needed
- Ensure invoices and credit memos are properly coded, approved, and entered daily
- Perform two-way invoice to purchase order matching in NetSuite
- Communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies or statement issues
- Support audits and special projects assigned by management
- Requirements:
- 2-3 years’ experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or a related accounting function
- Working knowledge of Oracle or NetSuite; experience with Concur is a plus
- Familiarity with flight database systems is advantageous
- Experience in the aviation industry or multinational companies is preferred
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Pay Range and Compensation Package:
- Compensation ranges from $20.72 per hour to $24.38 per hour, based on experience and skills
- Eligibility for a discretionary annual incentive program up to 6% based on individual and organizational performance
