About the position
- Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily pool operations and staff scheduling.
- Train and coach lifeguards and swimming instructors.
- Prioritize daily work assignments and ensure efficient task completion.
- Monitor pool safety and enforce rules and regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service to pool patrons.
- Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1 year of experience as a lifeguard and swimming instructor, including 1 year of supervisory experience.
- Lifeguard Certification upon hire or promotion.
- First Aid/AED/CPR for Professional Rescuer Certification upon hire or promotion.
- Water Safety Instructor Certification upon hire or promotion.
- Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
- Nice-to-haves
- 2 years as a lifeguard or swimming instructor.
- Some college courses completed.
- StarGuard Elite Lifeguard Instructor and/or Swim Lesson Instructor Trainer Certification(s).

- Accrue 1 hour of paid Statutory Sick Leave (SSL) for every 30 hours worked, eligible for use immediately following accrual; may use up to 40 hours of SSL per tax calendar year.
