We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant/Associate Professor of Computer Science to join our team at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. As a faculty member in the College of Humanities and Sciences, you will play a key role in shaping the minds of future leaders in the field of computer science.


Job Summary:


The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching introductory and upper-level computer science courses, with a focus on network security and cybersecurity. You will also be expected to contribute to curriculum development, student recruitment and advising, and professional attainment. Key Responsibilities:



  • Teach introductory and upper-level computer science courses, including network security and cybersecurity

  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of undergraduate students

  • Advise and mentor students to help them achieve their academic and professional goals

  • Contribute to the growth and development of the Computer Science, Engineering, and Physics Department

  • Participate in department, college, and university service activities


Requirements:



  • Doctorate in Computer Science (ABD will be considered, but tenure-track status requires terminal degree in hand)

  • Experience in network security or cybersecurity (preferred, but related fields will be considered)

  • Excellent teaching and communication skills

  • Dedication to professional attainment and quality improvement
