We’re partnered with a growing New Jersey family law firm seeking a Family Law Associate as its practice continues to expand.
This firm focuses exclusively on family law matters and represents clients in divorce litigation, custody, support, and other complex family disputes throughout New Jersey. Led by experienced attorneys with decades of family law experience, the firm offers a collaborative and supportive environment where associates are given meaningful responsibility and the opportunity to build their practice.
Associates are deeply integrated into cases rather than siloed. You’ll work directly with experienced family law attorneys, gain meaningful client exposure, and take ownership of substantive aspects of family law matters.
This role is particularly attractive for attorneys who want the autonomy to grow their practice while benefiting from strong operational, administrative, and marketing support.
What You’ll Need:
- 3+ years of family law experience
- JD and active New Jersey bar admission in good standing (PA is OK, but would not have as much support)
- Experience handling divorce litigation, custody, support, and related family law matters
- Experience with motion practice, court appearances, and client communication
- Interest in building or expanding a client base within a supportive firm environment
Bonus Points:
- Existing book of business or portable client matters welcomed
- Interest in developing and growing a client base with firm marketing support
- Strong interpersonal and client relationship skills
