Position Summary

AUIB is seeking a dynamic and experienced Associate Director of Brand & Communications to drive its mission of strengthening institutional reputation, visibility, and strategic communications. In this pivotal role, the Associate Director of Brand & Communications will lead the university’s brand strategy, content ecosystem, and institutional communications while ensuring consistency, quality, and alignment across all platforms. Key Responsibilities

Brand Strategy & Governance: Lead the development and implementation of AUIB’s brand strategy and ensure alignment across all communications and platforms.

Content Strategy & Editorial Direction: Oversee institutional content planning, messaging, storytelling, and editorial consistency across all channels.

Creative Production Management: Manage creative production processes, including design, photography, videography, and multimedia content.

Communications & Institutional Messaging: Lead internal and external communications to ensure a unified institutional voice and consistent messaging.

Team Leadership & Performance Management: Lead the Brand & Communications team, establish KPIs, and ensure high-quality content and creative output.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Brand Leadership: Strong ability to manage and strengthen institutional brand positioning.

Strategic Communication Skills: Excellent writing, editing, and messaging capabilities.

Creative Direction: Ability to guide multidisciplinary creative teams toward high-quality deliverables.

Collaboration & Teamwork: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work across departments and functions.

Project & Performance Management: Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and performance metrics effectively.

Education and Experience

Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.

Preferred Education: Master’s degree preferred.

Years of Relevant Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in brand management, communications, or content leadership roles.

Specific Skills or Expertise: Brand strategy, communications management, content development, creative production, leadership, and digital content oversight.

Additional Certifications: Relevant certifications in branding, communications, or digital marketing are a plus.

Personal Attributes: Innovative, collaborative, detail-oriented, strategic thinker, and committed to excellence.
