Automation Engineer (Make.com · n8n · Zapier) — AI Workflows & Integrations - Contract to Hire

We are looking for an experienced AI Automation Specialist to help us design, build, and optimize automated workflows using Make.com (Integromat), n8n, and Zapier.

The goal is to reduce manual work, connect multiple tools, and implement AI-driven automations that are reliable and scalable.

What you’ll work on:

Building and managing automation workflows using Make.com, n8n, and Zapier

Integrating APIs, webhooks, and third-party tools (CRM, Google Workspace, Airtable, Slack, etc.)

Implementing AI-based automations (OpenAI / GPT or similar) for tasks like data processing, content handling, or enrichment

Setting up error handling, logging, and workflow optimization

Testing and documenting automations for long-term reliability

Requirements:

Proven experience with Make.com, n8n, and/or Zapier

Strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, and automation logic

Experience integrating AI tools (OpenAI/GPT is a plus)

Ability to build clean, efficient, and maintainable workflows

Clear communication and ability to deliver on time

Nice to have:

Experience with SaaS tools, CRMs, or e-commerce platforms

Optimization of automation costs and performance

Long-term availability for ongoing automation support

This role is ideal for someone who can own automation projects end-to-end and deliver production-ready solutions.
