Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled and proactive Azure ADF ETL Developer. This senior-level role is fully remote and ideal for a developer passionate about scalable cloud data solutions and ETL performance optimization within Azure environments.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop robust ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory (v2).
- Optimize and monitor data workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Troubleshoot bottlenecks and ensure high-quality data processing.
- Collaborate with architects and analysts to convert requirements into efficient data solutions.
- Integrate data from Azure SQL, Blob Storage, APIs, and on-prem systems.
- Utilize Azure services like Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, Key Vault, and Logic Apps.
- Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting for ETL operations.
- (Optional) Develop Power BI dashboards and reports for business insights.
- Document technical workflows, processes, and data mappings.
- Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory and ETL processes.
- Proven ability to tune and troubleshoot complex data pipelines.
- Strong SQL proficiency with Azure SQL Database and/or Synapse Analytics.
- Knowledge of data modeling, transformation, and integration practices.
- Familiar with Azure services such as Data Lake, Key Vault, and Azure Monitor.
- Excellent analytical and independent problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and documentation abilities.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Power BI development and DAX.
- Exposure to CI/CD, Git, and DevOps for data pipelines.
- Familiarity with data governance, cataloging, and lineage tools.
