Schedule corresponds with PST.

Monday - Friday w/ 1 Saturday a month

Rotating schedule 5:00 am-2:00pm, 8:00 am-5:00pm and 10:00 am -7:00 pm PST

The following is required for the position:
High speed internet connection (no Wi-Fi)
A private and quiet workplace in your home where you can work without background noise
A laptop with an extra monitor OR desktop computer with dual monitors (No MacBooks or Chromebooks)

GENERAL SUMMARY

Overseas and supervises the performance and conduct of collections staff and lead as it pertains to all department and company goals, policies, and procedures. Trains, provides coaching and motivation, assigns work, evaluates and disciplines staff.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

▪ Ensure that the collection staff is properly trained and knowledgeable consistent with the key responsibilities outlined in the Collector Job Description.

▪ Train and support the newly on-boarded staff. Conduct staff audits, relay audit results and document the outcome. Ensure queues are worked efficiently and respond to staff’s performance.

▪ Learn and master all bad debt and USCB policies and procedures, practices and guidelines. Develop formal policies & procedures and inventory penetration strategies.

▪ Organizes and assigns work to collectors and performs daily audits to confirm accounts are worked properly/efficiently to conclusion.

▪ Maximize collections by ensuring inventory is worked timely and efficiently. Ensuring production and quality standards are met.

▪ Encourages, motivates, and develops staff to the maximum of their ability; leads by example. Establish routine ongoing meetings and attend all team meetings. Proactively addressing conflicts within the team working closely with management and HR for resolution.

▪ Mentor staff and develop strategies to remedy poor production results. Ensuring the team members are accountable for their roles and responsibilities, fostering a culture of ownership.

▪ Ensure projects are always staffed accordingly. Coordinates with manager/sr. manager and human resources to recruit, interview, and hire qualified staff members as vacancies occur.

▪ Performs introductory and annual performance evaluations for all collection staff in addition to regular off-cycle reviews. In coordination with the manager/sr. manager, counsels staff and conducts disciplinary reviews as appropriate up to and including termination.

▪ Perform special projects, as needed.

▪ Conduct weekly account audits on each employee

▪ Review and notate client accounts

▪ Plans the day-to-day functions in areas of responsibility

▪ Work alternate schedule to match those of employees working Saturdays or evenings

▪ Identifies pockets of opportunities

▪ Develop Key Performance Indicators

▪ Maintain consistent attendance to support team effectiveness

▪ Submit time off requests timely for effective planning

▪ Report any attendance challenges to your manager promptly.

▪ Address any attendance issues among team members promptly and professionally

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, & ABILITY REQUIREMENTS

▪ Displays excellent oral and written communications skills. Responds to emails timely.

▪ Highly organized; meets deadlines.

▪ Has basic experience utilizing an auto-dialer system. Become knowledgeable of all USCB (e.g., Artiva) and client systems (e.g., EPIC)

▪ Knowledgeable with FDCPA, FCRA, HIPAA and local, state, and federal collection laws.

▪ Possess basic knowledge of CA and federal employment laws.

▪ Knowledgeable in all USCB company policies, procedures, practices, and guidelines. Supports and promotes the USCB mission statement, standards of conduct, and codes of ethics.

▪ Possesses professional telephone demeanor and appearance. Maintains a positive attitude and professional demeanor

▪ Interacts successfully with all levels of management.

▪ Responds positively to direction and supervision.

▪ Demonstrates the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

▪ Has the ability to keyboard 30 wpm.

▪ Possesses a high school diploma or equivalent.

▪ Must successfully pass a criminal history screening.

Pay: From $24.00 per hour
