Business Analyst III/Senior Tester

The Business Analyst III/Senior Tester is responsible for serving as the liaison between the business and IT in translating complex business needs into application software.
- Responsibilities
- Analyzes complex end user needs to determine optimal means of meeting those needs.
- Determines specific business application software requirements to address complex business needs.
- Develops project plans and identifies and coordinates resources, involving those outside the unit.
- Works with programming staff to ensure requirements will be incorporated into system design and testing.
- Acts as a resource to users of the software to address questions/issues.
- May provide direction and guidance to team members and serves as an expert for the team.
- Detailed test cases creations based on requirements/ use cases, Identify the test data needs.
- Perform the test execution, and report the defects, Review the test results with business and secure signoff.
- Conduct defect triage meetings, Defects retest and closure, Report test execution metrics to assigned test lead daily/weekly.
- Requirements
- Requires a BA/BS and minimum of 5 years business analysis experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
- Nice-to-haves
- Knowledge of systems capabilities and business operations is strongly preferred.
- Minimum 4 years of testing experience in the US Healthcare domain (Commercial/Medicaid/Medicare) supporting pharmacy including claims processing, enrollment, and benefit administration.
- Prior experience in performing ends to end testing of programs is a plus.
- Experience with pharmacy prescription drug claims testing, benefits and clinical testing is a plus.
- Experience with test automation tools is a plus.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment.
- Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
