Currently, we have an opening for a Business Development Manager. Are you ready to take ownership of a high-impact territory and drive growth in one of the worldâs most dynamic industries? Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions is looking for a motivated and commercially driven Business Development Manager to expand our footprint across Western Canada (BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan).
This is more than a sales role, itâs an opportunity to shape market strategy, build lasting partnerships, and deliver innovative solutions that power our industry.
What you will be doing
As a key member of our team, you will lead business development efforts and play a critical role in strengthening Sandvikâs presence in the region. You will:
Develop and execute strategic plans to grow market share across Western Canada
Identify and capture new equipment sales opportunities in crushing, screening, and related technologies
Build and maintain strong relationships with mine operators, engineering firms, EPC contractors, and consultants
Own and manage a robust sales pipeline focused on lead generation
Collaborate closely with technical, product, and service teams to deliver tailored, high-value solutions
Conduct market and competitor analysis to inform strategy and uncover emerging opportunities
Represent Sandvik at industry events, trade shows, and customer sites
Support proposals, tenders, and technical presentations aligned with customer needs
Partner with aftermarket and service teams to ensure long-term customer success and lifecycle value
What you will bring along
Weâre looking for a driven professional who combines technical understanding with strong commercial instincts:
Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within mining, aggregates, or heavy industrial sectors
Solid understanding of comminution processes, crushing & screening equipment, or mineral processing flowsheets
Demonstrated success building relationships with senior stakeholders
Experience in Western Canadian markets and familiarity with regional mining operations is a strong asset
Ability to translate customer needs into practical, value-driven solutions
