Care Assistant - 6 Hall (Full time day and night shifts available)
About the position
- Responsibilities
- Provides supportive patient care.
- Assists in the maintenance of a safe environment and promotes efficient and safe operations.
- Performs unit secretary/clerical functions.
- Attends education programs, unit meetings, and assigned committees.
- Shares responsibility for teaching and orientation of new personnel (within own skills).
- Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- No experience necessary; on-the-job training provided in patient or customer-facing roles.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred, or must meet specific criteria such as being enrolled in a nursing program or having completed a UAP program.
- Required BLS certification upon hire.

- Experience as a nurse assistant, emergency medical technician (EMT), or surgical technician within the past 3 years.
