Commercial Interior Designer – Café Seating Area Enhancement (UK Based Preferred)

Job Description:

I am a Design & Build contractor based in Hertfordshire and I am leading a commercial project for an established wellness café brand in Hertford.

The project involves redesigning and enhancing the existing seating area to:

• Improve customer flow

• Create a warmer, more premium atmosphere

• Introduce feature areas that encourage dwell time

• Align the space more strongly with the wellness brand identity

This is not a full structural redesign or kitchen relocation. The focus is on front-of-house layout, finishes and lighting strategy.

Scope – Concept & Feasibility Stage:

We are looking for a designer to provide:

• Mood boards aligned with brand identity

• Seating layout optimisation (customer flow planning)

• Lighting strategy (layered hospitality lighting)

• Material & finish direction (cost-conscious but premium feel)

• Initial visual concepts / 3D renders (if included in your service)

• Early-stage budget guidance
