Are you obsessed with how AI is changing the way we work, create, and learn? Cynuria is supporting our sister company, an early stage startup building an AI-powered platform, and we’re looking for a high-energy Community & Beta Ops Intern to help us launch and run our Open Beta. You’ll be the "boots on the ground," helping our first users succeed.

Description

Job title: Community & Beta Operations intern

Employment type: Internship, W2, Authorized to work in the United States required

Job location: Remote, no travel

Weekly hours: Up to 30 hours/wk (Cynuria core hours: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm EST)

Compensation: Unpaid (4/20/2026 - 8/7/2026)

What you’ll do:

  • Beta user concierge: You’ll be one of the first points of contact for our beta testers. You’ll send out "Welcome" emails, help them set up their accounts, and troubleshoot simple "How do I do X?" questions.
  • Video creation: You’ll create quick, 60-second screen-share videos (using tools like Loom) to show users how to use new features.
  • Community management support: You’ll help manage our community space, welcoming new members, posting weekly "Tips & Tricks," and keeping the conversation going.
  • Feedback gathering: You’ll help the Product Manager by organizing user "bugs" and "feature requests" into a simple spreadsheet so nothing gets lost.
  • Social proof: Identify "aha!" moments from our users and help turn them into short testimonials or LinkedIn posts to build hype for our public launch.

Who you are:

  • Digital native: You can pick up new software and start using it quickly.
  • Clear communicator: You can write an email that sounds professional but still feels like it’s coming from a human and respond positively and constructively to questions across communication channels.
  • Hyper-organized: You’re the person in your group projects who actually keeps the Google Doc or Sheet organized.
  • Curious & independent: You don’t need a manual for everything; you’re happy to "Google it" and find a solution (and ask for guidance if you can’t find the answer).
  • A natural helper: You enjoy–and are great at–helping to solve someone's problem and explaining things clearly.
  • Process-oriented: You don't just do a task once; you figure out how to do it better the second time.

The tools you use:

  • Workspace essentials: You are proficient and confident working in Google Workspace (Sheets/Docs) and community platforms like Slack.
  • Creator kit: You have created short-form video content or tutorials (e.g., Loom or TikTok-style editing) and applied basic design skills in tools like Canva.
  • AI: You’ve used AI tools personally and understand how to "talk" to an LLM to get specific results.

Work environment and physical demands of the job: Working remotely, all work is computer-based, including frequent video meetings. Core working hours on Eastern Standard Time.
