About the position
The C2S2 Communications & Development Intern supports digital communications and donor engagement
efforts that advance our conservation mission. This is a supervised professional learning experience offering
hands-on exposure to nonprofit storytelling, fundraising, audience/donor engagement, and marketing strategy.
- Responsibilities
- Draft content for social media, newsletters, website pages, and donor communications
- Support donor research and stewardship activities
- Help create digital or print promotional materials
- Assist with event communications or logistics when needed
- Participate in regular team meetings and complete a final internship project
- Requirements
- Current student or recent graduate with a field of study related to communications, marketing, nonprofit leadership, conservation, or similar
- Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines in a remote work environment
- Valid driver’s license required
- Must be 21 years of age at the start of the internship
- International applicants must hold a J1 or B1 visa prior to start date (C2S2 does not sponsor visas)
- Must be able to provide personal laptop/computer and internet access for daily tasks
- Benefits
- A $500/month stipend is provided
- This is a full time (32 hours minimum per week) hybrid/remote internship designed for skill development and mentorship.
