Act as a liaison and collaborate with key stakeholders to analyze, evaluate, and improve health information management practices and workflows
Uses critical thinking skills to analyze complex issues, determine root cause and develop solutions independently
Act as a lead in HIM operational areas by providing support and expertise
Collaborate with HIM Leadership and IT department to identify enhancements and opportunities to improve the electronic health record
In depth analysis of HIM operations to identify areas for improvement and mitigate risks related to electronic health information
Identify opportunities for training and professional development, create training materials and deliver education to enhance the skills and knowledge of associates
Collaborates with HIM leadership to implement best practices and emerging trends in health information management to ensure compliance and optimize operations
Assist with creating standard of work, policies, and procedures for HIM operations

High School or GED
Strong computer skills, including knowledge of EPIC, Solarity, Onbase, and data archive systems
Practical knowledge of health information management principles, regulations, and best practices
Strong analytical skills and can identify issues with workflows
Expertise in health information management software and electronic health record systems
