About the position

    Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative and editorial support to the Manager of Assessment Content and content strategists.
  • Coordinate with team members throughout the content development and publication process.
  • Manage tasks related to content development and publishing cycles.
  • Create questionnaires and coordinate peer reviews.
  • Update project dashboards and trackers.
  • Report monthly usage and key performance measures.
  • Escalate issues to the content strategy team and tech development team.
  • Facilitate the development and revision of nursing assessment content.
  • Aid content strategists by reviewing nursing assessment items from authors and vendors.
  • Revise existing nursing assessment items on a digital assessment platform.
  • Assist with SME management tasks, including recruitment for item writing and editorial advisory boards.
  • Coordinate project-based and monthly SME assignments.
  • Assist with general project coordination, special editorial projects, and ad-hoc requests.
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings, take meeting notes, and follow up on action items.
  • Order gratis copy requests for authors and contributors.
  • Route contracts and set up vendors/freelancers for payments.
  • Process invoices and follow up to ensure timely payments.
  • Create, review, and update internal standard operating procedure (SOP) documentation.
    Requirements
  • College degree (BA/BS) required; English, Communications, Journalism, or related field preferred.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite and/or ability to quickly learn new systems.
  • Interest in publishing, digital, or content creation space is a plus.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proactive and able to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
