Summary

We are developing a comprehensive Core Biology curriculum aligned with foundational scientific principles and biological systems. The content includes, but is not limited to, the following topics:

Scientific Method, Inductive and Deductive Reasoning, Correlation and Causation, Characteristics of Life, Levels of Organization, Taxonomy and Phylogeny, Atomic Structure and Chemical Bonding, Molecular Interactions, Cell Biology, Membrane Structure and Transport (fluid mosaic model, diffusion, osmosis, active transport, endocytosis/exocytosis), Molecular Biology, Digestion and Physiology, and Genetics and Speciation.

Our goal is to create an engaging, standards-aligned learning experience that promotes conceptual clarity, analytical reasoning, and real-world application of biological principles for undergraduate learners.

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and academically strong Biology Content Reviewer to evaluate and refine educational materials covering core biological concepts. The ideal candidate will ensure that the content is scientifically accurate, pedagogically sound, and aligned with curriculum objectives for undergraduate-level learners.

Key Responsibilities

Review and assess the accuracy, depth, and quality of content across core biology topics listed above.

Ensure content is aligned with fundamental biological principles and structured appropriately for undergraduate learners.

Provide detailed feedback to improve clarity, coherence, and instructional effectiveness, especially for complex processes such as cellular transport, gene expression, and evolutionary mechanisms.

Verify correctness of scientific terminology, diagrams, and explanations (e.g., molecular structures, physiological pathways, ecological interactions).

Evaluate whether content supports critical thinking, problem-solving, and conceptual understanding.

Collaborate with curriculum developers to implement revisions and maintain high-quality educational standards.

Ensure consistency in tone, style, and academic rigor across modules and lessons.

Qualifications

Master’s degree or higher in Biology, Life Sciences, Molecular Biology, or a closely related field (required).

At least 3 years of academic, teaching, or professional experience in biology or related disciplines.

Strong understanding of core areas such as cell biology, genetics, physiology, and ecology.

Excellent attention to detail and strong written communication skills.

Prior experience reviewing or developing educational content (videos, textbooks, or e-learning materials) is highly preferred.
