Our client, a leading organization in cybersecurity and cloud infrastructure, is seeking a Cryptographic Governance Lead to drive enterprise-wide cryptographic strategy and governance.

Design, implement, and operationalize a comprehensive cryptographic governance program.
Partner with engineering, operations, and IT teams to identify vulnerabilities and ensure timely remediation.
Develop and maintain enterprise cryptographic policies and standards aligned with industry and regulatory requirements.
Define and track KPIs to measure risk, maturity, and program effectiveness; present findings to leadership.
Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging algorithms; coordinate transition strategies with stakeholders.
Provide expert guidance on encryption, hashing, key management, and digital signatures to safeguard data integrity.
Define requirements for encryption platforms and tools (AWS KMS, Azure Key Vault, HSMs, TLS infrastructure).
Promote and document governance processes, procedures, and enterprise cryptographic strategy across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments.

Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Mathematics, Cryptography, or related field (Master’s preferred).
5+ years of experience in cryptographic governance or related cybersecurity roles.
Deep knowledge of cryptographic algorithms, standards, and protocols (AES, RSA, TLS).
Proven expertise in PKI, key lifecycle management, and encryption across diverse environments.
Familiarity with data security platforms such as Splunk, Varonis, and Thales tools.
Experience in large, complex organizations; healthcare industry background is a plus.
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive enterprise-wide initiatives.
