Key Responsibilities:
- Provide phone support to patients and handle new medication orders and refills, including benefit verification and prior authorization.
- Coordinate and process patient medication requests, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of specialty medications.
- Collaborate with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to resolve issues and ensure seamless patient care.
- Utilize excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with patients, insurance companies, and internal partners.
Requirements:
- 1+ year of experience in a customer service role, handling high-volume, complex customer needs via telephone.
- 1+ year of experience working with Windows-based applications, including Microsoft Office, web navigation, and email.
- 1+ year of PC keyboarding experience, with strong typing skills and accuracy.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 6+ months of experience resolving high-volume, complex customer needs via telephone.
- Experience working in healthcare, with knowledge of benefits, insurance, prescriptions, and medical terminology.
