CWC: Machine Operator I - 3rd Shift - $21.45/hr + $2.00 Shift Premium
- Essential Duties:
- Attend and participate in team MDI meetings.
- Accurately account for labor using time clocks, Apriso system, and the specific codes for the department and job.
- Stock work area with needed materials.
- Work in a team to run machines or production lines.
- Perform minor process adjustments to machines e.g. clear jams from packing machines or bagger machines.
- Coordinate and communicate when a technician is needed for problems with production equipment.
- Follow all safety rules and keep area in a clean and orderly condition.
- Maintain GMP, GDP and quality standards.
- Complete all required training in a timely manner.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and mission statement.
- Perform or assist with in-process quality checks where applicable.
- Effectively communicate with supervisors, coworkers, and incoming/outgoing shifts when applicable.
Qualifications:
- Required:
- Must work well in teams and with minimal supervision.
- Ability to correctly read, write, speak, comprehend, and complete documentation in English as it pertains to work related issues.
- Basic math skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Preferred:
- Manufacturing experience in cGMP environment.
- Physical Demands:
- Job is performed by standing or walking for the 8-hour shift.
- Must be capable of maneuvering and lifting up to 50 pounds intermittently with or without mechanical assistance.
- Maneuver material handling devices such as pallet jacks and roll handling equipment.
