Director - Delivery (MAE)

The Director - Delivery (MAE) impacts the way our team delivers customer solutions, collaborates as a team, and provides transformational leadership across the board for our or customers. The Director of Delivery plays a significant role in creating meaningful work for our consultants, defines processes, and innovates on accelerators that help drive better engagement with customers. Additionally, this individual will work to recruit, hire, staff and train consultants into the practice. The Director of Delivery will play a significant role in taking the organization to the next level of performance, helping to scale the organization and capabilities. Success is measured for this role by the achievement of sales & revenue goals and the achievement of individual utilization targets.

Responsibilities

Demonstrated success in delivering consulting and implementation services

Strategy: Collaborate with the senior leadership team to innovate and achieve company objectives

Strategy: Develop key accelerators to help increase time to value to our customers and a standardized methodology for onboarding employees and customers

Manage the team to meet the annual team utilization target, inclusive of your billable time. Demonstrates ability to be billable on key customer projects or phases

Provide value in complex negotiations & the closing of new business

Awareness of new product offerings from channel partners to incorporating them into selling efforts

Develop excellent client relationships and maintain focus on exemplifying company values

Lead pipeline management across the respective team, responsible for $3-5M of business annually

Maintain an accurate pipeline of all opportunities, contacts, and account history within our CRM System, Salesforce

Collaborate with project teams to address potential issues around scope, solution, and cost, and refine future scoping models to drive better efficiencies

Proven ability to build, manage, and foster a team-oriented environment

Proactively sense and solve problems as they come

Provide guidance, coaching, mentoring, and day-to-day direction for a team of direct reports on a project(s); handle the performance feedback and annual review processes for direct reports

Support the recruitment, selection, staffing, and onboarding of consultants to projects; assist in qualifying opportunities and work with people managers and consultants to assess project fit

Be a clear and consistent communicator with the team and leadership

Note – Determination of Senior will be based upon the candidate’s previous relevant experience and depth of skills, and will be determined through our skills interview process

Pipeline management and sales target goal increase to $5-8M

Heavily experienced and responsible for advanced participation in leading and setting selling strategy for respective team and channel partners

Increase in people management responsibilities to successfully deliver against a larger project portfolio

Increased complexity of business or uniqueness of skillset shown through industry solutions, trends, technical skillset, or roadmaps

Contribution to overall company business strategy amongst leadership team to scale

Evangelizes Coastal Cloud publicly and with partners to represent team & business solutions

Responsible for escalations amongst internal project teams and external clients, including the expectation of leading technical, corporate, and all audiences in between

Required Skills, Education and Experience

8-10+ years of consulting experience in delivery leadership relative to iterative software development, ideally Salesforce

4+ years of experience leading groups of 20+ individuals distributed nationally

8-10+ years of experience delivering business solutions on the Salesforce platform; demonstrated ability to speak to the delivery approaches and considerations for different sizes and scales of projects and clients across Salesforce clouds

Participated in Sales and Business Development Efforts

Certified on the Salesforce.com Platform or equivalent Associated Accreditation

Excellent communicator who can easily understand business requirements and think on their feet

2+ years of channel management experience

Entrepreneurial Self Starter, who is good at setting expectations and managing timelines and deliverables

Must have full-time permanent US work authorization

Additional Requirements
