EdTech Platform Builder - Online Learning Platform for K-6 Test Prep
About Us
We are an Australian EdTech company specialising in academic test preparation for primary school students (Years 3-6). We deliver structured tutoring programs and practice materials that help students prepare for academic selection tests. We are looking to expand our reach by building a comprehensive online learning platform.
What You'll Do
- Select, configure, and customise an online learning platform (e.g., Teachable, Thinkific, Kajabi, or similar) to deliver our test prep curriculum
- Structure and organise our existing curriculum content (Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Reasoning, Abstract Reasoning, Writing) into engaging online modules for Years 3-6
- Build interactive quizzes, timed practice tests, and progress tracking dashboards for students
- Set up student and parent account management with appropriate access controls
- Integrate payment processing (Stripe) for course purchases and subscriptions
- Create an intuitive, child-friendly user interface that works across devices
- Implement analytics and reporting so we can track student engagement and performance
- Provide documentation and training so our team can manage the platform independently
Requirements
- Proven experience building online learning platforms or course sites using SaaS tools (Teachable, Thinkific, Kajabi, LearnDash, or similar)
- Strong understanding of instructional design principles, especially for K-6 education
- Experience with payment integration (Stripe, PayPal)
- Ability to create engaging, age-appropriate digital learning experiences
- Excellent communication skills and native/fluent English
- Portfolio of previous e-learning or EdTech projects
Nice to Have
- Experience with Australian education standards or test prep content
- Knowledge of gamification techniques for younger learners
- Experience with LMS analytics and student performance dashboards
- Understanding of accessibility standards for educational content
