    What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Provide project support for program requirements related to the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) and Emerging Contaminants in Small or Disadvantaged Communities Grant (EC-SDC)
  • Review and approve project compliance and eligibility determinations for SRF and EC-SDC projects
  • Maintain project plans and prioritize projects under the DWSRF
  • Coordinate with RIDOH engineers, state agencies, and public water systems to facilitate program implementation
  • Assist in developing guidance, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and other documentation to enhance program efficiency
    What Is Required (Qualifications)
  • Master’s Degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, one of the Social Sciences, or a closely related field
  • Experience in program development within a human services context
  • Thorough knowledge of program planning and development principles
  • Ability to evaluate existing programs and develop plans for improvement
  • Strong interpersonal skills to establish effective working relationships with various stakeholders
    How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Experience working with state agencies or community organizations in a public health context
  • Familiarity with federal and state regulations regarding drinking water quality
  • Skills in project management and strategic planning
  • Ability to mentor staff and support process improvement initiatives
  • Knowledge of community resources and their interrelationships
