Skydance Media is looking for an experienced administrative professional to support its President, Global Business Affairs & International. This is a career Executive Assistant position that requires managing a high-volume desk within a multi-faceted and fast-paced organization.

    This role is a balancing act of high-level administrative responsibilities, managing key communications, partnerships, and relationships, handling sensitive and confidential information, liaising with high-profile executives and offices, and providing solutions to issues/problems of varying magnitudes. The position requires exceptional verbal, written, and organizational- and time-management skills, initiative-taking, resourcefulness, and attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • *Responsibilities**
  • Maintain consistent awareness of the President’s priorities and strategize schedules and communications accordinglyOversee President’s scheduling/calendar, coordinate external and internal meetings, events, and appointments (including arranging physical and/or virtual conference details, create agendas and materials, etc.)Handle other day-to-day tasks like email distributions, updating contact information, managing expense reports, note-taking, filing, ordering of supplies, etc.Perform meeting/event-related tasks (such as preparing agendas, identifying next steps, maintaining status reports, and communicating out as needed)Manage heavy call and email volume/screening, update call logDisseminate team communications (verbal and written)Create deal memo and other form/record-keeping templates and draft such documentsPrepare correspondence, reports, reference materials, light content-related research, and other documents while upholding the utmost discretion and confidentialityOrganize and update shared databases and electronic filing systemsArrange detailed travel plans/bookings and itineraries as necessaryWork cross-functionally with colleagues in various business units and communicate and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholdersRead and digest important content-related documents and discern, summarize, and/or annotate critical data/informationOther administrative duties, projects, and workflows as requiredServe as a representation of the President and Skydance to external parties, including in relation to transmitting correspondence/communication, welcoming guests, etc.; represent Skydance with diplomacy, sensibility, and thoughtfulness
  • *Requirements**
  • Bachelor’s degree requiredAt least 5 years of administrative experience supporting a senior executive in entertainment Business Affairs, preferably in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentAbility to manage and track multiple high-priority tasks at once without letting things fall through the cracks – adept at prioritizing efficiently, managing time well, anticipating needs, meeting deadlines, and executing with precision and follow-throughExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interface effectively with team members, senior management, high-level executives, and talent representatives (and/or their offices)Excellent written, verbal, and telephone skillsHigh proficiency with MS Office and Google Suites (including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Google Docs)Highly self-motivated, proactive, quick-thinking, flexible, adaptable, collaborative, and resourceful, with excellent common sense and judgmentExperience in exercising sensibility, discretion, and diplomacy in handling all matters, information, and relationships (including confidential or sensitive information)Ability to give, receive, and implement feedback constructivelyEnthusiasm for the entertainment industry and knowledge of landscape (e.g. agencies, studios, producers, talent law firms; industry concepts, customs, and practices)The range for this non-exempt position in Los Angeles is $27.00-30.00/hour. The rate offered may vary based on the candidate’s location, qualifications, experience and relevant expertise, among other factors. The range indicated is for base salary only and does not reflect the total compensation package, including bonus, benefits, etc.
