As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) at careerzynith, you will play a vital role in supporting students with behavioral, developmental, and learning needs. You'll design and oversee individualized behavior intervention plans, collaborate with school teams and families, and implement evidence-based strategies to promote student growth and success in the classroom. Your expertise and passion for applied behavior analysis will make a significant difference in the lives of our students and their families.
- *Responsibilities**
As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) at careerzynith, your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to identify the underlying causes of student behavior
- Developing and managing individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) that are tailored to each student's unique needs
- Training and supporting school staff and paraprofessionals to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to implement BIPs effectively
- Monitoring and documenting student progress, adjusting plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes
- Collaborating with IEP teams, families, and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to student support
- Providing leadership and guidance to school teams to promote a positive and supportive school culture
- *Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Active BCBA certification (required)
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred, but not required
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and analyze data to inform BIP development and implementation
- A commitment to evidence-based practice and a willingness to stay up-to-date on best practices in applied behavior analysis
