As a key member of our support staff, you will be responsible for typing, transcribing, and formatting text from various sources, including handwritten, scanned, or printed documents, audio or video recordings, and spreadsheets. This role requires strong typing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

As a Copy Typist / Transcriptionist – Data Entry Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • **Typing and Transcription**: Type handwritten, scanned, or printed text into Word or Google Docs, and transcribe audio or video recordings into clear, formatted written documents.
  • **Data Entry**: Enter data accurately into spreadsheets, forms, or templates, and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information handled.
  • **Proofreading**: Proofread typed content for spelling, grammar, and formatting accuracy, and ensure that all documents are error-free and professional.
  • **File Organization**: Organize and label digital files properly (e.g., by date, client, or category), and convert typed documents into PDF or other file formats as needed.

To be successful in this role, you will need:
