  • *Key Responsibilities**

As an Experienced Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Providing timely and accurate information to incoming client calls and product knowledge requests
  • Identifying, processing, and assessing client needs according to established policies and procedures
  • Handling complaints, providing appropriate solutions and alternatives, and following up to ensure resolution
  • Partnering with other teams to meet and exceed client's service expectations
  • Admitting patients and handling medical records entries accurately
  • Entering and updating client and patient information into practice computer software
  • Preparing health certificates, immunization certificates, laboratory requests, and euthanasia forms
  • Processing payments/client invoices for services performed
  • Receiving and relaying telephone, fax, and email messages accurately and promptly
  • Answering telephones and handling calls quickly, efficiently, and in a professional and friendly manner using a multi-line system

This role operates in a professional office environment, with exposure to hazards associated with pets, such as allergies, contagious diseases, noises, odors, bites, scratches, and animal waste. You'll be required to work in a fast-paced environment, using standard office equipment, including computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

The physical demands of this role include:

  • Regularly talking or hearing
  • Frequently sitting, standing, walking, using hands, and reaching with hands and arms
  • Lifting and carrying items weighing up to 40 pounds up or down one flight of stairs

This is a full-time position, with shifts and hours of work Monday through Sunday. You must be able to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.

  • High school degree
  • Previous client service experience is desirable
  • Computer experience
