- *Key Responsibilities**
As a Lost & Found Customer Service Agent, you'll be responsible for:
- Assisting customers during business hours by operating and assisting walk-in customers, answering phones, and inputting required information into the Lost and Found system.
- Researching and verifying the validity of all information before releasing lost items.
- Collecting lost items from terminals and various other areas of the airport grounds, photographing and logging these items, and securing them in a lockable container such as a safe.
- Moving goods and materials in and out of secured lockers, ensuring that all items are accounted for and properly documented.
- Demonstrating strong organizational skills, maintaining a self-driven focus on customer and client satisfaction, and the ability to excel under pressure while meeting extreme deadlines.
- Effective communication, both verbally and in writing, is crucial, as is the ability to solve daily problems and make quick decisions within the operation.
- Learning and utilizing Lost and Found software.
- *Essential Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Valid US work authorization.
- Professional demeanor and presentation.
- Flexible schedule and availability, including weekends and holidays.
- Background check and fingerprinting required.
- Drug screen required.
- *Nice-to-Haves**
While not required, the following qualifications would be a plus:
- Previous customer service experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with Lost and Found software.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 70 lbs.
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive and operate a vehicle.
