As a Customer Service/Sales Associate at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:

• Providing fast, friendly service to our customers by actively seeking out their needs and providing assistance
• Learning about our products using our tools and providing information to customers to sell entire projects
• Greeting, qualifying, recommending, and closing every customer in your department
• Maintaining the in-stock condition of assigned areas, ensuring they are clean, shop-able, and safe
• Providing a safe working and shopping environment by following all safety policies & standards, completing specified safety training, and reporting hazards or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty
• Working in cooperation with your Department Supervisor and other associates in your department as well as other departments

• *Key Responsibilities**

• Provide exceptional customer service by actively seeking out customers and providing assistance
• Learn about products using our tools and provide information to customers to sell entire projects
• Greet, qualify, recommend, and close every customer in your department
• Maintain the in-stock condition of assigned areas, ensuring they are clean, shop-able, and safe
• Provide a safe working and shopping environment by following all safety policies & standards, completing specified safety training, and reporting hazards or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty
• Work in cooperation with your Department Supervisor and other associates in your department as well as other departments
• Participate in visual merchandising and store displays to create an engaging shopping experience
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently, including handling returns and exchanges
• Maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay up-to-date on new products and promotions
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless customer service and sales experiences

• *Essential Qualifications**

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1-2 years of retail experience, preferably in a sales or customer service role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
• Strong product knowledge and ability to learn quickly
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
• Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays

• *Preferred Qualifications**

• Previous experience in a home improvement or retail environment
• Knowledge of building materials, tools, and equipment
• Experience with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software
• Bilingual or multilingual skills
