As an Experienced Customer Support Representative, you will be responsible for providing timely, effective, and professional support to our customers via multiple communication channels. You will be the face of Careerzynith Five Star Call Centers, representing our brand and values in every interaction. Your expertise will be sought after by customers, colleagues, and management alike, and you will be empowered to make decisions and take ownership of issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
- *Responsibilities**
- Provide exceptional customer service via phone, chat, and email, resolving customer issues, providing training, and escalating complex problems as needed
- Utilize multiple support channels to engage with customers, including phone, chat, and email
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our parking app and its features to provide accurate and helpful information to customers
- Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge, best practices, and ideas to improve customer satisfaction and experience
- Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on industry trends, products, and services
- Meet or exceed performance metrics, including first call resolution, customer satisfaction, and quality scores
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment, with a willingness to learn and grow with the company
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor in all customer interactions, even in challenging situations
- *Qualifications**
- 1 year of customer service or customer support experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional results
- 1 year of previous call center or office background experience, with a focus on customer-facing roles
- Technical savvy, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new systems, tools, and technologies
- Previous remote work from home experience a plus, with a strong understanding of the importance of a dedicated workspace and reliable internet connection
- Quick learner and able to work independently, with a strong sense of self-motivation and discipline
- Type 35 words per minute accurately, with strong phone and verbal communication skills, as well as active listening
- A background check applicable with state and federal laws is required
- *Equipment and Software Requirements**
- Processor: Intel Core i5 5200 Series or greater
- Memory: 8GB on Windows 8.1 / 10 64 bits
- Screen Resolution: 1280x768 or higher, dual monitors required
- USB headset
- No Chromebooks, netbooks, or any type of tablet (Must be a laptop or a desktop)
- Up-to-date antivirus software must be installed on the platform and a recent scan completed (Will be checked prior to allowing login to system)
- Firewall must be enabled (Will be checked prior to allowing login to system)
- *Work Environment and Schedule**
- Work-at-home opportunity for individuals living in the state of Iowa
- Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) option available for full-time and part-time positions
- 8 or 10 hour shifts, rotating days on/off, with some set schedule options available
- Shifts between 6:00am-11:00pm (CST), with a focus on providing flexible scheduling to meet the needs of our customers and team members
- Paid training typically 2 weeks in length from 8:00am-5:00pm Mon-Fri (CST)
- *Compensation and Benefits**
- Starting pay: $13-$14 pending shift/hours, plus shift differential (extra $1/hr nights & wkds) and possible increase after 90 days pending attendance and performance
- Stay put bonus of $150 after 30 days and $150 after 60 days as long as in good standing
