As a Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support to our end-users, resolving technical issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems. - *Key Responsibilities**
- Resolve and close tickets/work orders supporting end-user workstations and peripherals
- Answer client care issues raised from the Helpdesk
- Contribute to workstation projects (global installs/renovations) as a project team member
- Remotely resolve and resolve demands using remote tools
- Investigate and collaborate with other departments to assist with system-related issues
- Record client interactions in incident management software, including resource management
- Recover data from hard drives or perform data migration
- Maintain remote access for virtual private network (VPN) availability as well as remote/broadband network for workstations
- Install and configure local and network-based printers
- Perform preventive maintenance
- Work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required
- Follow management direction, complying with IT strategy and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Travel, as required
- *What You'll Need for Success**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience and training
- 2 years of hands-on IT work experience supporting and resolving various PC workstation software and hardware issues
- First-hand experience supporting workstations in a Windows/TCPIP environment
- Preferred Qualifications: + A+ certification+ MCSE/MCP certification+ Past IT foundation experience in an aircraft/airport environment
- Essential Skills: + General knowledge of all Windows-based operating systems, including Windows 10+ Knowledge of workflow and tagging systems+ Knowledge of VPN networks and ability to troubleshoot issues+ Ability to work independently and act in a collaborative, team-based environment+ Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
