  • *Key Responsibilities**

As a Data Entry Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Entering accurate and complete data into computer programs, ensuring compliance with established procedures and protocols.
  • Producing and maintaining data reports, identifying inconsistencies or issues, and alerting management to ensure timely resolution.
  • Performing database queries to assist with analysis and reporting, and providing recommendations for process improvements.
  • Verifying data entries for accuracy and completeness, and undertaking special projects as assigned by management.
  • Assisting in the processes required for medical case file creation and/or closing, including data entry and records management.
  • Providing assistance with decision notification, including mailing decision letters to all parties and faxing decision letters.
  • Accurately updating the Medicare Appeal system (MAS) and other databases.
  • Demonstrating and maintaining appropriate judgment with confidential information.
  • Determining if work assignments need supervisor intervention.
  • Performing other duties as may be assigned by management.
  • *Minimum Requirements**

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience required.
  • Prior experience with Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
  • Prior experience with Medicare Appeals and Systems preferred.
  • Must be a US Citizen or have lived in the US for the last 5 years, working 3 years continuously.
  • *Preferred Qualifications**

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Experience working in a healthcare setting or with medical records.
  • Strong understanding of data management principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • *Home Office Requirements**

As a remote worker, you will be required to meet the following home office requirements:

  • Internet speed of 20mbps or higher required (50 Mpbs for shared internet connectivity).
  • Minimum 5mbps upload speed.
  • Connectivity to the internet via either Wi-Fi or Category 5 or 6 ethernet patch cable to the home router.
  • Private work area and adequate power source.
  • Must currently and permanently reside in the Continental US.

The minimum salary for this role is $17.75 per hour, and the maximum salary is $19.00 per hour. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value, but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
