- *Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced Data Entry Specialist to join our Ocean Freight and Logistics Operations team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for executing strategies that support the growth of ocean volumes and enhance the development of our ocean product. You'll work closely with our MD of Ocean to support carrier development, pricing, and analysis, as well as sales and operations as an ocean subject matter expert.
- *Key Responsibilities**
- Execute strategies to support the growth of ocean volumes and enhance the development of our ocean product
- Work closely with the MD of Ocean to support carrier development, pricing, and analysis
- Assist in implementing pricing programs and reviewing volume targets
- Develop an ocean strategy that enhances the effectiveness of sales to achieve expectations of account development and yield enhancement
- Communicate both internally and externally to outline strategy, market conditions, and work closely with the MD, Ocean, along with global trade lane team, sales and operations to communicate direction and deliverables
- Direct and in-direct customer contact will also be required
- Work closely with product, sales and operations to ensure compliance with policies and procedures in order to minimize company risk
- *Essential Qualifications**
- 2+ years of experience in data entry, logistics, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- *Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience in ocean freight and logistics operations
- Knowledge of carrier development, pricing, and analysis
- Experience working with sales and operations teams
- Strong understanding of logistics and transportation industry trends and regulations
- Certification in logistics or a related field (e.g. CLTD, CSCP)
- *Skills and Competencies**

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
