- *Job Responsibilities**
As a Data Entry Specialist at careerzynith, you will be responsible for:
- Registering sales on assigned sales register, providing customers with friendly, fair, and efficient checkout service
- Drawing in customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with items and services
- Resolving customer issues and answering questions to ensure a positive customer experience
- Modeling and offering customer service best practices with all colleagues to convey a unique and excellent customer experience
- Providing customers with gracious, courteous, quick, and effective assistance
- Recommending products available for purchase to customers and suggesting upsell and companion items
- Registering customer purchases on assigned sales register, collecting cash and dispensing change as required; processing voids, returns, IOUs, discounts, and trades as necessary
- Maintaining counters and retiring perfect and well-organized, taking stock, and keeping records
- Checking in and costing stock as required or as coordinated by head supervisor or imparted by the shift manager
- Executing organizational resource security strategies to identify and limit benefit loss
- Guaranteeing consistency with state and local regulations in regards to managed items (e.g., tobacco and tobacco products)
- Developing and maintaining displays, including promotional, seasonal, super designs, and sale stock
- Completing resets and updates as coordinated
- Assisting with the separation of food items (e.g., raw foods from pre-cooked) and item arrangement as determined by policies/systems (e.g., raw and frozen meats on base retires)
- Having working knowledge of store systems and store equipment
- Providing customer assistance in the photo area, including digital visa photo service, banner print and creative machine, and interesting sell of promotional photo items
- Taking on web pick-up responsibilities (screens orders in Picture Care, takes care of orders (pick items), conveys orders to customers as they arrive at the store)
- Assisting with outside and inside maintenance by ensuring a clean, neat, deliberate store condition and appearance
- Following all organizational policies and procedures; maintaining respectful associations with colleagues
- Completing special tasks and other assignments as appointed
- *Preparation and Self-Improvement**
- Attends training and completes PPLs mentioned by Administrator or assigned by corporate
- Participates in ongoing learning and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
- *Essential Capabilities**
- Familiarity with reading, writing, and communicating in English (except in Puerto Rico)
- Ability to work an adaptable schedule, including nights and weekend hours
- *Preferred Capabilities**
- Previous experience in a retail environment
- Previous work experience with careerzynith
