We're seeking a highly skilled Data Entry/Word Processor to facilitate the processing of Mortgage Loan Originator license applications. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for reviewing applications and accompanying documents for accuracy and completeness, data entering application-related information, and uploading application-related documents. You'll also prepare communications requesting additional supporting documents or informing applicants of deficiencies in applications.

  • *Key Responsibilities**
  • Review Mortgage Loan Originator license applications and accompanying documents for accuracy and completeness
  • Data enter application-related information and application status changes in the internal LINX database
  • Upload application-related documents
  • Prepare communications requesting additional supporting documents or informing applicants of deficiencies in applications
  • Review criminal background checks, verify compliance with testing and education, sponsorship, work location, and surety bond requirements
  • Prepare a checklist identifying applicant's compliance with all licensing requirements, statutory prohibitions, and eligibility for licensing
  • Manage varied tasks as assigned
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Maintain a high level of detail and organization in a fast-paced environment
  • *Essential Qualifications**
  • High School Diploma or Equivalency
  • At least one year of experience in clerical support-related work
  • One year of Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, mail merge, formulas to compare spreadsheets)
  • Eligible to work in New York State
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365
