- *Key Responsibilities**
As a Database Analyst at careerzynith, you will be responsible for:
- Investigating and resolving normal database issues, including performing calamity recovery tasks
- Performing routine database support tasks, such as: + File maintenance and backup management (full, differential, and log backups)+ Monitoring and executing SQL jobs+ SQL Server troubleshooting and repair
- Developing and implementing database estimating and execution tuning practices
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data integration and delivery
- Providing exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- *Essential Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience and training
- Proven experience in database analysis and administration, with a focus on UPS data entry
- Strong understanding of database estimating and execution tuning practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
- *Preferred Qualifications**
While not required, the following skills and experience would be highly desirable:
- Experience with Azure IaaS and PaaS SQL Services
- Ability to develop PowerShell scripts
- Experience with SQL AOG and database mirroring
