Experienced Distribution Customer Service Representative – Hybrid Role with careerzynith

In this role, you'll be the face of careerzynith, interacting with customers to resolve their inquiries, process orders, and handle complaints in a prompt, courteous, and effective manner. You'll be the go-to person for all customer-related matters, working closely with our Traffic and Operations Departments to ensure seamless service delivery.

- *Responsibilities**
As a Distribution Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
- Interacting with customers in a professional and courteous manner, responding to inquiries and complaints concerning work orders, invoices, shipments, inventory counts, and more
- Processing and inputting all customer orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Producing stock reports to check for product availability and ensuring timely delivery
- Coordinating special and last-minute shipping requests with our Traffic and Operations Departments, expediting orders as necessary
- Providing follow-up with other departments to ensure service standards are being met
- Assuring proper invoicing of accounts by verifying computer-generated invoices
- Preparing shipping and tracing information for customers as required
- Maintaining damage records and back-order logs
- Communicating customer feedback to management, including any signs of dissatisfaction
- Acting as a liaison between the warehouse and the customer in administration of accounts and between the office and customers regarding invoicing and credit changes
- Overseeing all paperwork associated with orders and maintaining corresponding files
- Maintaining current and accurate procedure manuals, detailing processing requirements for each account
- *Qualifications**
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A High School diploma or equivalent
- Strong computer knowledge, including MS Office applications
- Basic typing skills and familiarity with 10-key
- Experience with shipping software systems, including UPS and Federal Express
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work in varying facility conditions
- Ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours, including nights, weekends, and potentially holidays as needed
