Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced First Officer to join our team. As a key member of our flight crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft. Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all regulations and directives pertaining to the conduct of the flight, including Western Global Airlines' approved/accepted manuals, Operations Specifications, 14 CFRs, FAA Orders, Airworthiness Directives, Advisory Circulars, Directives, and Manufacturer's recommendations.


• Comply with all administrative programs, including airport/route qualification, flight time limitations, currency requirements (e.g., physicals, takeoffs and landings, home study courses, etc.), pilot flight equipment, uniform discipline, manuals, policies and procedures, and others, as assigned.


• Act as Second-in-Command of the flight, supporting the Captain in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft.


• Participate in pre-flight planning, preparation, and briefing, as well as post-flight debriefing and reporting.


• Contribute to a positive and professional work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication among crew members.

Education and Technical Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

• Hold a current and valid FAA Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).


• Hold a valid FAA Class 1 Medical Certificate.


• Hold an FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.


• Meet ICAO English Language Proficiency Level IV.


• Have a minimum of 2500 hours of total flying experience.


• Have no history of accidents or incidents.


• Hold a valid US passport allowing unrestricted international travel due to military contract requirements.


• Previous part 121 airline or aviation experience is preferred.

Preferred / Ideal Skills

While not required, the following skills and qualifications are highly desirable:

• College degree in Aviation or a related field.


• Previous B747-400 or Boeing aircraft type rating or MD-11 or Airbus aircraft type rating.


• 1000 hours of flight time under Part 121 operations.


• Up to 500 hours of military flight time as pilot in command (PIC) of a multiengine, turbine-powered, fixed-wing airplane, which can count towards the 1,000-hour requirement.


• A PIC in operations under either § 135.243(a)(1) or § 91.1053(a)(2)(i), or any combination of these.
