• *Job Summary**

We're seeking an experienced Software Development Team Lead to drive the roadmap for a subsystem of our core product. As a key member of our engineering team, you'll be responsible for developing part of the roadmap yourself, while mentoring a small group of 3-4 engineers to achieve engineering excellence. You'll gain subject matter expertise in business intelligence, large language models, and our tech stack, and represent your area of responsibility to the organization.

• *Key Responsibilities**

As a Software Development Team Lead, you'll be responsible for:

• Developing part of the roadmap for a subsystem of our core product
• Mentoring a small group of 3-4 engineers to achieve engineering excellence
• Collaborating with product and business owners on requirements, training, testing, and release of new software
• Owning and driving commitments where possible by balancing the work between team members, negotiating scope changes, etc.
• Ensuring solutions exceed standards for quality, architectural integrity, performance, scalability, security, and availability for everyone on your team
• Exploring new technologies, frameworks, and tools that should be considered by the organization proactively
• Strategizing the right business move, ensuring that all projects get delivered relative to the business' goals

• *Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• 2+ years of experience leading teams of 3+ software engineers in a professional setting
• Must meet all the requirements of a top-tier individual contributor software engineer with at least 3-5+ years of experience
• Experience working in LLM, GPT, or Prompt Engineering
• Experience recruiting and mentoring team members, reviewing pull requests, challenging requirements, and driving closure on timelines
• Experience with multiple tech stacks, databases, and processes; including proficiency within one or more areas including: Typescript and/or Node.js, Java, Kotlin, Python, and SQL
• Experience working with testing frameworks, Jenkins, and Git
