About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fundraising Professional to join our remote team and support Carnegie Hall's mission. As a Fundraise for Carnegie Hall, you will play a vital role in driving fundraising efforts and contributing to the success of our prestigious client. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute effective fundraising strategies to engage Carnegie Hall concertgoers and/or current/lapsed donors
- Utilize persuasive communication skills to close sales and raise money for Carnegie Hall's music education and outreach programs
- Work collaboratively with our team to achieve fundraising goals and objectives
- Provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with donors and stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in fundraising and sales
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
- Proven fundraising/sales experience, with a strong track record of closing sales and raising money
- Background in the performing arts, with a passion for music education and outreach programs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate and persuade effectively
- Strong computer skills, with proficiency in desktop or laptop, high-speed internet, and headset with microphone
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence
