As an IT Support Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining IT clients' workstations, software, and equipment
  • Providing technical support to IT clients on all aspects of end-user computing and workstation-based LAN frameworks software
  • Resolving and closing tickets/work orders supporting end-user workstations and peripherals
  • Answering customer service issues escalated from the Helpdesk
  • Collaborating with other teams to resolve foundation-related issues
  • Recording client interactions in the incident management system, including resource management
  • Recovering data from hard drives and performing data migration
  • Maintaining remote access for virtual private network (VPN) and remote/broadband availability for PCs
  • Installing and configuring local and network-based printers
  • Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Working flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required
  • Following management direction, complying with IT strategy and methodology
  • *What You'll Need for Success**

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience and training
  • At least 3 years of hands-on IT experience supporting and resolving various PC workstation software and equipment issues
  • First-hand experience supporting PCs in a Windows/TCPIP environment
  • A+ certification
  • MCSE/MCP certification or higher
  • Past IT infrastructure experience in an airline/airport environment
  • *Preferred Qualifications**
  • Experience with Windows 10 and other Windows-based operating systems
  • Knowledge of workflow and tagging systems
  • Familiarity with VPN availability and ability to troubleshoot issues
  • Ability to work independently and act in a collaborative, team-based environment
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
