Job Overview


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mid/Senior Process Mechanical Designer to join our team, supporting multi-discipline designs for facilities primarily serving the water and wastewater industries. Key Responsibilities



  • Develop designs in BIM documents utilizing Autodesk Revit or AutoCAD software under the direction of senior design professionals

  • Collaborate with a team of senior process mechanical designers and BIM Leads to deliver high-quality design solutions

  • Execute work on wastewater and water utilities and industrial facilities, including treatment plant, pumping station, and bio-system facility planning and design

  • Conduct field inspections and testing to ensure performance and conformity with plans and specifications

  • Assist with the preparation of technical memoranda, reports, and electronic deliverables

  • Support studies, permitting, and alternative analysis, as well as field activities such as site investigations

Essential Qualifications



  • 5-10 years of experience in municipal and/or industrial projects, with a focus on water and wastewater industries

  • Proficiency in BIM-coordinated design, AutoCAD, and REVIT

  • Experience with 3D modeling, drawing production, and associated workflows

  • Strong technical skills, with the ability to articulate ideas and concepts both visually and verbally

  • Excellent communication and writing skills, with a high level of attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications



  • Experience with Microstation

  • Previous experience working in a remote or virtual team environment

  • Familiarity with industry-specific software and technologies

  • Professional certifications or licenses relevant to the field
